The blurb ob by blob...

Mother, writer and daydreamer. Also chocoholic and chick-flick lover. But mainly mommy. To two boys, at that! When not escorting my Elder One (EO) to karate class, I'm trying to get in as many cuddles as possible from my Younger One (YO). And when not doing either, I'm hard-at-work trying to maintain a steady relationship with my laptop. And as for the Man I Married (MIM), well, let’s just put it this way – even though we share a bedroom, our most meaningful conversations are held over the cell-phone!

I Am an Oscar Junkie...

I LOOOOOOOOVVVVVVVVEEEEEEEEEE The Oscars! I love most award shows, well, not Filmfare, but The Oscars, The Emmy's, The Golden Globes and now, even The BAFTAs.

And I am watching The Oscars right now. Live. And Exclusive. Erm...on TV.

And right at this moment, I am watching the eminently edible Hugh Jackman do a Fred Astaire. I am sweaty all over. Rowwwwwrrrrrrr!!

Last night 'Delhi-6', this morning The Oscars. Life seems goody-goody-gumdrops!

*The title of this post is dedicated to wordjunkie, so that she doesn't kill me for stealing the luscious HJ away from her... ;)

I am watching it and my favourite A R Rehman has also got an Oscar, he said 'Mere paas maa hai ...' his mom's there with him !
I thought he was married.

Yay! Rahman won best composer and best song with Gulzar.

IHM - he's married - he mentioned he's as excited and scared as he was on his wedding day. But he did not thank his wife in the speech - i found that strange.

Hi, and yes, what a great way to start a Monday morning...looking at Hughie.
I think that was Rahman's wife with him, she looked too young and, er, hip, to be his mom. His mere paas maa hai was sadly lost on the firangis, might have worked at the Filmfare awards though.

I's been such a year for feel good films - Smile Pinki, Slumdog... so shall be nice and let you have Hugh ..but only for today.

Wow, you do a post in the MIDDLE of OScars and already have 6 comments? Aamir should have hired whoever promotes your blogs, he'd be the one making Rahman famous with Lagaan in 2002. :-)

I am not an Oscar junkie but yes, hearing Salim-Javed's dialogue on that stage made this year's my favorite!! I *am* an Amitabh junkie :P

By the way, Beyonce was way more luscious than the grating Jackass-man (huh, why's the screen green all of a sudden!!?!!)
