Miss I'm-Too-Big-For-My-Red-Carpet-Stilettos

Dear Ms. Pinto,

You are just one film old. And even then, your role was pretty blink and you'll miss it. And you weren't great even in those few stills. Let's face it, those kids could run circles around you and you'd get all dizzy and faint.

You claim you're all 'international now'? (Calcutta Times, pg.1, Feb. 26th 2009) When were you even 'national', sweetheart? And just what are you implying...that anything 'national' is not good enough for you?

So after Woody Allen, what next? Pink Panther 3?!?

Perfectly said. I so agree with you. I never quite understood what was all the fuss about her. You shopuld read how Shobhaa De's blog, expressing her love for Ms. Pinto. She is such a two bit nothing it seems. The kids were the real stars and no one is talking about them!

On the other hand I am so full of glee because I keep imagining the Ice Maiden going all green seeing so much attention on this nobody and also all the fashion jackpots she is hitting. I say go girl! :D

(This is probably my first comment on your blog. I read regularly though)

Ms. Pinto was at the right place at the right time, me thinks. She has a quality about her that would attract the likes of certain genre of artists. Her role really wasn't defined and I suppose it's early to say what she can or cannot do. :-)

just read thru the post and the comments and can't help thinking how petty you all sound.. So a young girl has found her fifteen minutes of fame. Can't you just let it be? Its not like she DEMANDED that the international media make such a fuss of her. But if they do, hey, who's she to refuse.. would you?
